Last Call 3v3 Tournaments

Please be sure to review the rules with your team.

• All games will be no checking
• All games will be two 22-minute running time halves with a 3 minute warm-up and 1 minute intermission
• Face-offs will occur only at the beginning of each period and play does not stop for a puck hitting the netting, ceiling, etc. Play it. If a puck goes over the boards or into the bench, the referee will drop a live puck where the original puck last was.
• When play is stopped due to the goalie controlling the puck, a whistle will signal the attacking players to vacate the area.
• When a goal is scored, all players must retreat back to their net together before attacking.
• Unless a high stick or hand pass leads to a goal, play will continue
• Teams will not switch ends after each half
• Minor penalties (tripping, interference, hooking, holding, slashing, cross checking, high sticking and too many men) will result in a penalty shot with all other players chasing the shooter and the puck continuing to be live after the penalty shot. The player who draws the penalty must take the shot. Both teams will kneel behind the shooter. When the ref blows the whistle, all players leave. If players leave early, the shooting player will get another shot, regardless of whether they scored. Both will count.
• There is a zero tolerance policy on any abuse of referees. This includes players, coaches and spectators.
• Each team will play with four players on the ice-- three skaters and a goalie.
• There must be a coach on the bench for all games.
• Major penalties include checking from behind, fighting and roughing. If the referee feels a major penalty was committed, the player committing the penalty will be removed from the remainder of the game.

• Teams may play back to back games
• Line changes will be done on the fly for all levels
• This is not a USA/MN Hockey Event
• Officials are not USA Hockey Certified
